The carnival of Riquewihr, which takes place every 2 years, proposes this year a high procession colors made up of various tanks, brass bands and costumes of the villages neighbourhood :
Weil Der Stadt, Cernay, Ensisheim, Rombach-Le-Franc, Colmar, Sélestat, Ribeauvillé and of course Riquewihr.
Gathering at 2 p.m., departure of the procession at 3 p.m., glass of the friendship under the capital at 4 p.m., election of the 3 more beautiful costumes at 5 p.m. 30, to rough-hew of the witch at 6 p.m., meal of the groups at 7 p.m. and meal for all as from 8 p.m. then ball of the widows at 9 p.m. 30 and to finish musical animations until the end of the night.
